The Dordogne Valley is a child’s paradise. The National Museum of Automats and Robots in Souillac is nearby – a spectacular museum, always moving, with more than 1,000 automats reliving more than a century-old history of mechanical toys.
Visits the caves of Lacave, the abyss of Padirac, the caves of Lascaux, the Rock of Eagles and the Monkey Forest awaits you in Rocamadour.
Visit the Borie d’Imbert, an authentic farm in the Causse of Rocamadour. Immerse yourself in the end of the 19th century and visit the house of Justine to discover the farm animals and watch cheese making at the goat barn.

Accommodation capacity: 17 rooms and personalised apartments allowing for a maximum of 40 guests.
Reception capacity: we can organise a cocktail reception and a seated dinner for up to 70 guests.
Higher capacities are possible, but require the renting of material (marquee, tableware, silverware…), which we can of course take care of. Limit of 150 people.

Philippe and Stéphanie Gombert and their team invite you to celebrate Christmas and New Year in a warm and cosy atmosphere.
All the public areas are decorated with Christmas themes, candles and stars.The decoration of the Christmas tree is an old tradition going back to the 11th century: it was then decorated with red apples that symbolised the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Later on, apples, sweets and little cakes were affixed to the branches

Later on, apples, sweets and little cakes were affixed to the branches. During the 17th century, the first fir trees with candles appeared. At La Treyne, we have maintained this wonderful tradition. Numerous small fir trees are set up on the ground floor with different decorations.
Come and enjoy cakes in front of open fireplaces or join us for the Christmas and New Year’s Eve dinners bathed by soft candlelight… where time stands still before you head into a new year.
