DISCOVER BLACK PERIGORD PLAN

Périgord noir (Black Perigord) is actually not named for its truffles.
In fact, black is the color of the abundant live oaks which cover the high hills around Sarlat and whose dark silhouettes can be seen from miles away.
History buffs will marvel at the sites they’ll discover. Some best preserved prehistory cave paintings are in Perigord and medieval castles out there are too many to count.
